The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: LG range model # LSEL6335FE

I bought an LG range. The range is faulty and is one that is not on the recall list. It should not be sold. It has known issues. This range heats up random burners that shouldnt heat. This caused a bowl sitting on the counter to heat up, explode in the air and came down on my foot. This caused my blood pressure to drop and I fainted. Paramedics could not wake me up and brought me to the hospital via ambulance. I have reported this to LG and there is no concern or help

The product, in the report: Stainless steel stove with 5 burners made by LG

Purchased an LG stove . Barely 3 months old. At 10 pm i put the self cleaning on. About 11pm we awoke to warmth downstairs. Went up i thought kitchen was on fire. The heat was intense. Turned off stove, stove an granite were extremelt hot. We had to get out there. Felt very unsafe , it was still warm in morning. Called LG he told me thats normal. Im afraid if we hadn’t turned it off we would have had a fire.No one wants to listen said its ok.
