First aid Made Dec 6, 2025, sent to the company Dec 10, 2025, published by CPSC Dec 29, 2025
The product, in the report: ZLINE Autograph Edition 36 Dual Fuel Range. Stainless steel body with brass knobs and brass accents. Freestanding 36-inch range with gas cooktop and electric oven. Model RA36. The product is a household oven and cooktop used for standard residential cooking.
I am reporting a burn injury caused by a ZLINE Autograph Edition 36 Dual Fuel Range (Model RA36, Serial RA36DF-WXXXXX-49, manufactured January 3, 2022).
On December 6, 2025, my 11-month-old son briefly touched the EXTERIOR side or lower outer panel of the oven while it was operating. The contact lasted less than one second, yet the metal surface was hot enough to immediately cause blister burns (second-degree) on his fingertips. He cried in significant pain for hours.
The exterior of a household oven should not reach temperatures capable of causing burn injuries during normal use. This suggests a failure of insulation or heat containment in the unit. The exterior metal surfaces were extremely hot to the touch and appeared to reach unsafe temperatures.
This product poses a burn hazard to children and possibly adults. I am reporting this incident to ensure it is investigated and to help prevent other injuries.

No one hurt Made Mar 15, 2025, sent to the company Mar 20, 2025, published by CPSC Apr 3, 2025
The product, in the report: Dual fuel range 36-in Deep Recessed 6 Burners ing Convection Oven Freestanding Dual Fuel Range
We had our Z-line RA36 range from Nov 2021 and I had no idea that it was on recall. Yesterday while I was having my morning coffee, nothing was cooking on the stove, it sparked up and combusted into flames causing a house fire. I called 911 and firefighters were very quick to respond. They shut off the gas line and electricity to the stove and got it out of the house. Luckily we were all timely evacuated and nobody got injured. I am glad that this happened before my eyes and I was able to call for help. The whole house could have burned down with people injured. Most likely there was a leak of gas in the system that got ignited by electrical spark and combustion. We have to deal with damage of the wall in the kitchen and smoke and soot all over, but happy that nobody got injured.

The product, in the report: ZLINE RA36 dual fuel range with gas cooktop and electric convention oven
ON xmas day our ZLINE RA36 dual fuel range stop working, no heat cycle works! No one in CS answers the phone. One email with onerous directives to discourage us! Electric oven stopped working. Just learned from the web that there is a recall 22,000 units for possible CO poisoning and hundreds of blogs on lack of CS and other oven functions failing. This product is a lemom!
