The product, in the report: Electrolux in wall oven with microwave on top. This was purchased in 2018. Model number of the oven is EW30MC65PSC. The glass is black and the trim and handle is stainless steel.
I have an Electrolux in wall Oven with microwave model EW30MC65PSC. While I was away from the house the exterior glass door on the oven spontaneously exploded/shattered. There were sharp shards of glass all over the floor. The stove was not being used at the time that the glass door exploded. The glass had no prior damage.

The product, in the report: 30 inch Wall Oven. Electrolux model #EI30EW35PSC. Stainless Steel
I have an Electrolux oven in my home, model #EI30EW35PSC. The house was built in 2015, so the oven is not even 10 years old. Yesterday the outer glass shattered on me during normal use. I had the oven set 425 to cook chicken for 40 mins. I shut off the oven to pull out my chicken, had the door facing the floor as I was pulling it out. Then I heard a loud cracking noise as glass shattered onto the floor. I did some [REDACTED] and saw this seemed to be a reoccurring problem. When I called Electrolux support I was shocked they offered no assistance other than to provide two local repairmen numbers that I could contact at my own expense.

The product, in the report: Electrolux 36” Dual Fuel Range, model E36DF76GPS, Stainless Steel, Floor mounted, approx 3in clearance from floor, single oven, 6 burner
During a routine warranty service call the technical noticed that the AC Power Cord had melted almost to the conductor. We replaced the cord and later I checked the bottom of the unit during cooking operations and it was way too hot to touch. I hate to think of how hot it gets during cleaning. Both the gas line and the power cord have been positioned so as not contact the bottom of the unit. Electrolux has been impossible to work with on this and I really believe it to be an unsafe condition. The model and serial numbers are:

The product, in the report: Electric Range
The consumer states that after approximately a year of use, the front and right burner had been sparking but not lighting. The burner has been replaced three times but it never fixed the issue permanently. The first and second time that it was repaired, the unit worked for a couple of months, after it ceased lighting once again. The lighting issue seems to have been fixed the third time that it was repaired on 03/16/2015. After the repair, the consumer sporadically noticed the glass atop the burner was turning black.
Approximately on 10/30/2015, the Fire Department went to his home because the carbon monoxide alarm went off. The Fire Department determined that the stove was the culprit. They told the consumer the reason why the carbon monoxide alarm did not go off any sooner is because the home was usually kept with windows open since it was Summer.
The manager, [REDACTED], from Reliable Repair took his lead technician to inspect the consumer’s range and both determined that the same burner is not burning the gas properly, thus releasing carbon monoxide above average levels.
The consumer indicates that the unit is now one week out of his extended warranty and so he cannot receive assistance without paying out of pocket.
The consumer believes this product poses a safety hazard.

The product, in the report: Electrolux Icon 36” Dual-Fuel Range
I purchased an Electrolux Icon Dual Fuel Range in early 2011. The control panel has burned out multiple times. The control panel is located near the gas stove top and there is a concern that a burning/faulty control panel could ignite the gas. I am also concerned because on one occasion when this happened the oven locked and went into cleaning mode with food inside. I have reported my concerns to Electrolux and have requested a replacement of the range if this is a lemon range or a refund if this is a problem with the design of this particular model. They have not responded to this request.

The product, in the report: Electrolux ICON 48” Dual Fuel Range Model# E48DF76EPS Serial Number CF8000187.
My wife and I purchased a high-end Electrolux ICON 48” Dual Fuel Range in May 2010 Model# E48DF76EPS Serial Number CF8000187. We have had a gas leak in the main manifold that was finally resolved last month by replacing the main manifold assembly part# 5304453241. Earlier multiple service trips by qualified Sears Home Services miss-diagnosed the problem as “several leaky gas valves” and that the entire manifold rail assembly would need to be replaced since if more than one valve is leaky, you end up paying for the whole rail anyway.
I am very disappointed that the FINAL ROOT CAUSE that was identified in a subsequent service trip by a DIFFERENT Sear Home Service Team identified a FAULTV WELD on the end of the manifold. The manifold is a fabricated iron pipe with welded end caps that are intended to be gas/air-tight. This manufacturing defect should NEVER have passed quality control. All of the gas valves were good, and did not leak. The welded end cap on the end of the manifold rail was the cause of the problem. It appears that after the welding of the cap, the person doing the fabrication ground the excess weld of, but ground too much and opened up a LEAK! I have the original part for inspection, and I expect that Electrolux will act responsibly and provide me with a full refund on the cost of the manifold rail assembly, since there was a factory manufacturing defect on the rail that should NEVER have shipped from the factory.

The product, in the report: Dual Fuel Slide-In Range
I have a new Electrolux Dual Fuel Range Model EW30DS65GS8. We noticed a strong gas smell and found that the knob to turn on the gas burner was slightly turned on and the igniter did not start the burner flame. Hence the gas continued to flow into the room. Had we not noticed the smell or had left the room and a spark was set, we believe the house would have exploded. I phoned Electrolux but they did not offer any solution other than to be careful. We believe that there should have been a fault sensor that if the gas was flowing and a flame had not ignited, the stove should automatically shut off the flow of gas.
