The product, in the report: Sumsung Smartthings Gas Range
Sumsung SmartThings gas range has design defect which causes carbon monoxide leakage, leading to health concerns including nausea, vomiting and light-headedness. Gas company technician confirmed the leakage of CO instead of gas with a deadly amount within mins of turning on the oven. However, Sumsung refused to send technician to check or perform any repair/replacement just because it is out of warranty. The below is the report from gas company: Good morning,
Here is the information related to the leak call for [REDACTED].
Per technician notes:
Completed investigations. Water heater and boiler are all okay. Range stove top is not producing CO, however oven is producing over 300ppm of CO. Red tagged oven and called landlord to inform her. Tenant knows not to touch or use oven.
