Oven turns on overnight or while occupants are away unexpectedly and themostat is set to OFF position.
Apartment was vacant for a month, oven went on unknown to anyone. When apartment was entered, it was very hot in kitchen.
The oven thermostat: (EAP Number: EAP2339203) was the cause. This is not a result of wear, but rather a defect in fail safe engineering.
I am seeking a replacement thermostat and hot surface ignitor which prematurely buned out due to the abnormal on/off cycles as complete restitution for this potentionally dangerous thermostat. I can ship this part to you for your inspection and you will find the switch closed in off position
