The product, in the report: This is a 24” gas range in stainless steel color

I’m reporting the Avanti 24” gas range, model gr2416css. The grates on the stovetop are poorly made and do not allow pots and pans to sit level and still. Any time I cook on this stove, the pots and pans wobble and tip, causing a potential fire hazard.

Made May 25, 2020, sent to the company Jun 24, 2020, published by CPSC Jul 9, 2020

The product, in the report: Avanti gas range, white. 24 inches. G2404CW

The exterior door to my Avanti gas range shattered, suddenly and with a loud bang. I was cooking something at 425F, and about 18 minutes in the door exploded and the glass shattered everywhere. I was standing two feet away from the oven when this happened. I never banged against the oven door, nor used it to hold a pot, nor misused it in any other way. The explosion happened without any warning and it was very shocking. The tempered glass used for this range must have been defective.

Made Feb 1, 2019, sent to the company Mar 6, 2019, published by CPSC Mar 21, 2019

The product, in the report: Free standing gas range, 498 mm width, 605 mm depth, 920 mm height

Used in older motel kitchenette for client usage. Repeated movement of the unit causes the gasket at the internal union of the gas extension pipe to wear and leak. Also the gas extension pipe CAN PULL FREE from the internal connection causing gas to fill the device cavity and surrounding structure unless supply line is turned off. Severe fire hazard!

The product, in the report: Avanti DG2450SS-1 24-Inch Gas Range Sealed Burners, Stainless Steel Review

I purchased an Avanti 23 inch gas oven in July of 2016. After about 1 year I noticed the oven exterior was beginning to melt. After I called customer service they sent someone to fix it and when they arrived, they didn’t have the “parts” and would haver to order them. I have still not had it fixed and no one art Avanti is willing to help. it has continued to melt and I believe the oven is unsafe and unable to properly contain the gas heat. After reading reviews, I am. to the only person with this issue, the product is clearly unsafe.
