The product, in the report: Product Image RCA 24 in. Century Collection 3.25 cu. ft. Electric Wall Oven, Convection, 7 Functions, Knob Controls in Stainless Steel SKU #1014650634

Purchased a built in wall oven purchased from Home Depot vendor online. Wall modified to accept new size oven and installed. Unit looks good. While showing 95 year mom how to adjust the shelving, it was discovered that the shelves fall out when they are pulled slightly forward. We won’t let her use this stove as it is a critical design flaw that could get her very hurt. Further, not just for my mom, but for anyone buying these stoves with this kind of shelving/rack design, is in for a critical safety issue. Home Depot thinks we’re looking for a discount. The vendor (RCA branded) thinks we’re incompetent. We think this is an obvious danger to any user, but no one seems to agree. yet. These units seem to be manufactured by one company and branded by many. It seems they are sold online only through many outlets including Home Depot and [REDACTED]. Very minor differences sometimes. Any with this shelving type are a definite concern for all users. Dangerous.
