The product, in the report: Hamilton Beach//Proctor Silex double coil burner, countertop model White finish// 18” X 6 1/2” approx.// One 1000 Watt burner ++ One 700 Watt burner, side by side.
Please refer to previous emailed report Re: defective Hamilton Beach//Proctor Silex electronic cookware. This cookware product has 2 coil burners-- One of which provides 1000 watts power. This product is defective. The burner coil has slipped and tipped out of place while in use, causing pots and pans to tilt from surface-- whereupon hot water//hot cooking oils spilled onto the oil (causing sparks), pan and surrounding surfaces. Moreover, along with the initial burn & fire hazard, the 1000 watt burner is now totally inoperable, no longer heating to ANY degree. The manufacturer /s have refused to respond to my numerous calls & emails requesting they honor their warranty, issue a refund, or replace the defective product with a safe and operable. model. Thank you, [REDACTED].
