The product, in the report: LG Model # LSEL6335FE
LG Electric Range. Model LSEL6335FE. I was using the stove which was purchased last October and put into service in December 2024. I turned on the left back burner and the front left burner turned on high in addition to the back burner. I almost caught my clothing on fire . . . I was very fortunate that did not happen. We then tried the other burners and the same thing happened . . . the other burner would turn on in addition to the front left burner. I contacted LG last week and finally heard from a repair person and he informed that there were at least 5 parts LG recommended having replaced for this problem and one of them was backordered with no known delivery date. This is clearly a known problem at LG and exceptionally dangerous. There should be a recall on this product immediately. People will get injured and houses will burn down if there is not.

The product, in the report: LG Instaview oven
I have a recalled LG oven and their remedy is a sticker warning that knob can be bumped on easily and put the control lock on each day. The problem is we do that every day. When the power flickers or goes out and back on, the control lock releases and the oven turns on. We had some paper towels burn and another time the oven just turned on when no one was home. They need to either find a solution for the knobs or fix the panel to hold the control lock on even in a power emergency.
