The product, in the report: 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Freestanding Electric Range with Flex Duo, No-Preheat Air Fry & Griddle in Black Stainless Steel. NE59J7850**/NE59J7750**
6.3 cu. ft. Smart Freestanding Electric Range with Flex Duo, No-Preheat Air Fry & Griddle in Black Stainless Steel. Making cookies in this oven at 350 degrees. The oven overheated somehow and the cookies started on fire in the oven. Oven and all surrounding parts were extremely hot to the touch and unsafe to touch more than 1 hour post incident. This is not the first time this has happened. Id guess that this has happened at least 5 other time since purchasing this product in 2019. No injuries but this is vey concerning as I only had the cookies in the oven for 5 minutes when this happened. My concern when this happened in the past which is now confirmed by todays event and seeing the actual fire taking place in my oven, is that this oven is clearly a high risk for burning my house down. Not to mention the safety of its condition being that the entire unit is very hot to the touch on the outer surfaces! I have a 3 year old who could have been severely burned!
