The product, in the report: GE Self-Cleaning Electric Coil Range. Black 30 inches
Glass door on my GE Electric Range exploded and the glass shattered onto the kitchen floor. Model #:JBP35OK1BB Serial #:VH2 22952Q
It happened approximately at 10 PM at night. The unit was completely off.
The unit was purchased from Cocca”s Appliance & Home Electronics in Albany, NY on 05/19/08 and delivered on 05/24/08.
Contacted GE and the best they can do is give me a discount on the part. I will have to to pay for Home Call of $89.95 plus Labor. They also advised I could get a discount on a new range comparable to what I had but the cost was approximately $200 more than what I paid for the the original unit.
