The product, in the report: GE 30” Slide in Electric Rang Slide in Electric Range with glass top and glass oven door Model JS645DL2WW
On November 9, 2019 at 8:30pm, I was kneeling on the floor next to my range putting baking pans away when I suddenly heard a loud explosion and saw glass everywhere. My hair had been hanging over the left side of my face and arm and luckily, saved my face and eyes from the shattered glass pieces which was embedded in my hair. I looked around and notice glass pieces every where in my kitchen and saw that my oven door was missing the glass. The explosion sent shattered glass pieces about 8 feet away, covering my kitchen floor, parts of the hallway and my countertops. I was barefoot and my right foot was cut in several places from the glass. This appliance had not been used in 48 hours and was not in used when this incident occurred. I contacted GE (Manufacturer) and they sent out a representative/tech and they replaced the oven door glass on Nov 20, 2019
