The product, in the report: Windmere Steam ‘N Glide Iron. 1100 watts
Have been using Windmere Steam’n Glide Iron for about 1 year now. CAT No. WSI750C TY 1, purchased at Rite Aid, I believe. 1100 watts. Today, cord caught fire, with shooting flames, burning ironing pad, which did not propagate fire thankfully, and only stopped flaming when breaker tripped. Disconcerting and expensive fire. Product made in China.
I took photos of the aftermath, which I can send. I can be reached at [REDACTED] or [REDACTED].
