  1. No one hurt

Made Apr 20, 2022, sent to the company May 10, 2022, published by CPSC May 24, 2022

The product, in the report: I purchased a New Leaf extended warranty when I purchased my Samsung refrigerator model # RF265BEAESR/AA from Plessers on May 30 2017. I have had nothing but issues with this refrigerator as can be seen from all the service calls listed below. I called in again today as the issue occurred again. I recorded the call and I was informed that if an issue occurs within 60 days of the previous service call, for the same issue, there would be another service call and my issue doesn’t fall within the Federal Lemon Law, Magnusom Moss Act. This potentially could mean that I go through service calls within perpetuality until the contract ends:  - Samsung original warranty claim - May 3, 2019 - ticket #[REDACTED] replaced evaporator cover, ice kit, gasket, and temp sensor - New leaf warranty - Sept 2021  Replaced water/ice dispenser sensor  - New leaf warranty - Feb 2022  Replaced ice kit/ computer board  - New leaf warranty - Feb 17 2022  ice issue continues, service provider came out, but then returned the ticket to new leaf - New leaf warranty - Feb 21 2022 - service provider canceled and rescheduled ice issue continues,   - New leaf warranty - Feb 25 2022 - Rescheduled service - ordered the same parts as the earlier Feb 2022 service call ice issue continues - New leaf warranty  - March 7, 2022 - New service call to replace the same ice maker parts as Feb 2022 - Replaced ice kit/ computer board - New leaf warranty  - April 19, 2022 - Called New Leaf and explained the Lemon Law; and informed that it doesn’t fall under the lemon law since the repair is within 60 days of the previous repair. They want to keep a continuous repair cycle until the contract is over. Same issue with ice machine and now a message on the interactive screen saying if you don’t contact the repair center food could be damaged. New Leaf rep said they would send a copy of the contract. This lack of service is unacceptable and I’m looking for a full refund as this issue has and will continue.
