The product, in the report: Midea refridgertor model MRQ22D7AST, FRENCH DOOR WITH FLEX DOOR, BOTTOM PULL OUT FREEZER
Purchased a Midea refidgerator Model MRQ22D7AST 9/23/23. January 2025 the control panel in the flex drawer that controls the tempatures, walter filter replacement, and both ice makers went out. Midea has not been in help in resolving this issue. I have had 2 technicians come out to fix this issues without success. When leaving a rewiew of this issue, I saw that other had the exact same issue

Hurt, no treatment Made Jul 4, 2024, sent to the company Jul 9, 2024, published by CPSC Jul 24, 2024
The product, in the report: Refrigerator
I purchased a Midea brand refrigerator from Costco which is a serious and dangerous fire hazard. There are many other similar consumer reviews for this exact refrigerator that consumers have posted on the Internet. Other people are experiencing the same symptoms which include tripping the electrical breakers in the house, feeling dangerously hot to the touch on the outside to the point that it burns your skin, and making loud popping noises inside as it is electrically malfunctioning. The refrigerator was purchased in February 2024 and the symptoms started occurring roughly one month later and continue to this day. Thus far the injuries sustained are limited to burning of the skin by household members who brush against it. However, we fear for our lives that it will cause a fire, and Costco nor the manufacturer will allow a return of the unit, even though its only a couple of months old. Our wish is to have this dangerous product recalled so that we can get it replaced with something that is not dangerous. We spent a lot of money on it and do not have money to throw it out and replace it with a new appliance. Obviously we need a refrigerator . Thank you.
