The product, in the report: 3.2 cuft refrigerator

I would like to report a suspect refrigerator, which suffered a failure mode that could lead to ignition. I purchased an Igloo 3.2 cu ft refrigerator (model: FR8341-C / Serial: A1308099830000307) from Walmart during late 2013. During the last 2+ months, I noticed dimming lights in my basement. When I made time to investigate, I found the compressor on the Igloo refrigerator locked up and cycling on thermal overload. This type of failure has the potential to create an ignition source. I reported to failure to the mfr. (Curtis) to no avail. If you would like additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Best regards, [REDACTED]
