The product, in the report: Haier Refrigerator Model HA10TG218SW UPC 688057309156 Date Manufactured - I don’t see a date on the sticker, but I attached a picture of the label. Haier 9.8-cu ft Top-Freezer Refrigerator (White) Unit Specifications Width 23.60? Depth 25.20? Height 59.40? Weight 112 lbs. UPC 688057309156 (White)
Haier 9.8-cu ft Top-Freezer Refrigerator (White) There has been a recall of this refrigerator in the past. The one I bought on July 11, 2020, is not in the recall. This product is getting so hot on the outside it could catch fire. We cannot have anything around the sides at all. It left a burn mark on the leather of a chair that was sitting beside it. The left side, looking at the front, gets hot enough to burn a child or elderly person. It is also freezing the food in the refrigerator part even when it is turned down on two. I have tried to work with the Service Department. They scheduled a repair, but the company they scheduled is also not responsive. This refrigerator is a danger.

No one hurt Made Jun 26, 2019, sent to the company Jul 24, 2019, published by CPSC Aug 7, 2019
The product, in the report: Haier 7.3 cu ft. refrigerator
We purchased a Haier refrigerator from Lowes June 2017 for our apartment. We did not use the unit right away & then were notified that this model was defective & might cause fire. Company sent repairman out to replace part. Unfortunately when we started using the unit it was extremely noisy, and runs constantly. Won’t turn off when cool. My family is concerned about the possibility of a fire so we discontinued its use. We have talked with our local Lowes store to try and find a replacement, but they will not assist us or issue a refund. Hoping you might help us. Thank you

No one hurt Made Sep 26, 2013, sent to the company Oct 22, 2013, published by CPSC Nov 5, 2013
The product, in the report: Haier Thermal Electric Wine Cellar. Model HVTS18DBVS. It is a residential 18 bottle wine cooler. The casing is black, and the door/front of the unit is Glass with a silver strip running down the sides. Across the top of the door is a backlit capacative touch temperature control
The product is a residential wine cellar. It was being used to store wine in my home. The product received it’s power through a surge protector. I smelled smoke from within my home and located the source to be the wine cellar. The unit was immediately unplugged. Upon inspection I had noticed that electronic components near the AC input were scorched and plastic near the source was beginning to melt.
I feel this product produces a fire risk.
I have had 3 of these units and all 3 have failed in the same manner at different times. The first ran for 10 months then this failure occurred. The company replaced that and I had acquired a second at the same time for occasional use. The next one ran for approximately 2 years and then had the same failure. I then ran the third for a few weeks (it had run from time to time before) and the same failure occurred. I have contacted the company again, first by e-mail (with no response) then by phone. No reason was given for the failure and nothing was done to address my concern for the potential issue.
The first failure did not raise a large concern with me about the safety, it was the identical failure with the following two units that alerted me.
