The product, in the report: Fisher & Paykel Stainless Steel Designer Refrigerator, counter depth
I have a Samsung manufactured Fisher & Paykel Refrigerator- Model GSE4820SS. The Refrigerator has faulty defroster design/timing and often freezes up. When this happens, temperatures in the freezer reach high 30s and 40s, defrosting meats, melting ice cream into liquid and making frozen veggies soft. I have discarded the contents of our freezer multiple times out of safety concern. Luckily no one was sick because I am fairly conscious of the quality of the foods I prepare for the family.
I would like to also point out there is a servicr note on the refrigerator noting “forced defrost”, as this may be a known design flaw.
