The product, in the report: Refrigerator

The consumer stated that while her cleaning staff was cleaning the bottom glass shelf, from the refrigerator in the sink it exploded. The shelf was shattered into several tiny pieces that she was unable to remove it from the floor thoroughly.

5/17/12 The manufacturer was contacted and she was advised that this incident was a cosmetic flaw and not a safety issue, therefore it was not covered by warranty.

The consumer is concerned that this is a safety hazard which could have caused injury and should be reported.
