What happened that made you want to report? After ~2 months of normal use, our Cooluli Infinity Series 0.53 cu ft retro mini fridge (Cooluli INFINITY-15L) consistently held ~50 F in a climate-controlled 75 F room, verified by two thermometers (one placed on a shelf inside the unit; one probe directly in stored breast milk). Because the product is marketed for breast milk/insulin/medications, we relied on it for infant feeding. Temperatures around 50 F are not safe for perishable foods, so we are reporting a potential safety hazard.

What type of product(s) were being used? A compact/mini refrigerator (thermoelectric mini fridge): Cooluli Infinity Series 0.53 cu ft Retro Mini Fridge (purchased at Lowes, also sold on [REDACTED], and other major retailers).

Who was using the product(s)? Adults (parents). The stored contents were expressed breast milk intended for consumption by our infant.

How were the product(s) being used? As a stationary mini-refrigerator for breast milk, exactly as promoted by the manufacturer. The unit was placed on a level surface in our bedroom, with normal ventilation clearance, door fully closed, and minimal door openings. Room temperature remained approximately 72 - 75 F. No modifications or misuse. We measured temperatures multiple times with two separate thermometers (ambient inside and an in-liquid probe in a bottle of stored breast milk).

Were there any injuries that happened or may have happened while using the product? No diagnosed injury at the time of this report. However, the risk of harm is significant because prolonged storage of breast milk at ~50 F can allow bacterial growth and potential foodborne illness in infants.

How did any injuries occur (or how might they occur)? If parents rely on this unit for breast milk (as marketed), milk held around 50 F will spoil. An infant consuming that milk could experience gastrointestinal illness or other complications associated with improperly refrigerated perishable foods.

Requested action: Investigation and appropriate recall or corrective action if units marketed for breast milk cannot reliably maintain 40 F; refunds to affected purchasers; and clear, prominent disclosures regarding the products temperature limitations.
