The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Food Processor

The consumer says he purchased the food processor for his wife. She was making pizza dough. After the pizza was baked he bit into it and bit on a chard of plastic the size of a penny. He contacted the manufacturer for a replacement lid. he was told by the manufacturer that the lid was discontinued. Several days later a crown in his tooth came loose and eventually came out. He went to the dentist who told him the tooth was cracked and needed to be pulled. The consumer says a replacement tooth is over $4000. The consumer contacted the manufacturer in October. The manufacturer asked for pictures and copies of his dental bill which he sent them. They asked for him to ship the product to them which the customer refused. The consumer is in pain with a big hole in his tooth, as he does not have $4000.
