The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Moulinex La Machine II food processor, white. LM2, Manufacture code 588, Made in USA. I have photos.

I saw the recall on [REDACTED] food processors this morning. I took my food processor out to examine it. It is NOT a Cuisinart. My food processor is a Moulinex La Machine II. The metal blade on mine is cracked on the bottom at each of the 4 rivets. I took pictures and will also add them to this report. No incident. I have photos.

The product, in the report: Moulinex La Machine II food processor Model LM2

I have a Moulinex La Machine II food processor and it has the same blade cracks as reported in the recent [REDACTED] recall. There are cracks in the blade at 2 of the the four rivets on the bottom and there are cracks starting around 3 of the four rivets on the top blade. Looks to be a very similar design from the TV news reports. There has not been a failure of the blades at this time.
