  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 18, 2022, sent to the company Jan 21, 2022, published by CPSC Feb 4, 2022

The product, in the report: Black and Decker 8 quart food processor, FP1600B, black

I used the slicing blade attachment for the Black & Decker FP1600B 8 quart food processor. I used it to slice potatoes and was careful to not put any pieces that were too large through the chute. While we were eating, my husband noticed a sharp shard of plastic in his potatoes and upon inspection of the processor found that the lid had chipped off in 2 places. We never found the other shard and hope one of our kids didn’t eat it. This happened because the blade assembly is loose so the blade wobbled and chipped the lid.
