The product, in the report: Single cylinder soft serve ice cream machine. White, can come in other colors
39-year-old male adult Electrocuted by a BQL-9200st ice cream machine manufactured by Spelor while cleaning out the ice cream cylinder in a powered off state.
While cleaning out water in the grounded cylinder my arm touched the metal dispenser switch and received an electric shock through the arm. Shock was enough for GFI to be triggered.
This resulted in slight soreness and cramping to my arm.
This could have been much worse and caused severe injury or death if any other part of the body was grounded such as feet or other arm while touching the dispenser switch.
