The product, in the report: Home Ice cream maker
The very first time we used our ice cream maker, model 8550-X, it never stopped like it was supposed to. When we opened it up, there were metal shavings on top of the ice cream. The dasher shaft and the motor socket that drives it were both rounded off at the corners, so that the motor was spinning free and the dasher wasn’t turning in the canister. We used it the first and only time 6-12-2012, but we received it as a gift in 2002.
