  1. Hurt, no treatment

The product, in the report: It is a machine that is suppose to separate the juice from the pulp and seeds. The Juice Maker that I had was an older machine.

I’ve had my Juice Machine by Mr. Coffee for several years and decided to use it, as I had some small [REDACTED] grapes and wanted to get some juice to make jelly. I put less than 1/8 a cup of fresh grapes in it, plugged it in, turned it on, and POW! The machine exploded while it was still plugged in. The base was flipping around on the counter; the round top & metal base blade were spinning; large & tiny chunks of plastic were hurled throughout my kitchen, into the dining room, and down the hall into the utility room! It finally unplugged itself from the wall when the base fell to the floor. It is a miracle my eyesight was not taken from me. For several hours after it happened, I had a loud hum in my ears that turned into sounding like I was under water. Now, I just have an extremely high pitched constant sound. I have had some tinnitus in the past, and it kind of sounds like that only much higher. I took a bath to remove all the tiny pieces of plastic stuck to my face, neck, and body and washed my eyes with an eye rinse. I’m still finding tiny little pieces of plastic on my neck, face, and arms. On Monday, I may go to see my eye doctor to make sure nothing is still in my eyes. I have no idea what caused it to do what it did. I have owned many Mr. Coffee products and have always been very happy with them.
