The product, in the report: model 774 singer electric juicer
I thought I had sold my juicer about ten years ago, but it had been in storage and I was elated when I discovered it. I had a bumper crop of apples this year and I thought I’d make some apple juice. The basket strainer broke just like you’ve mentioned and the plastic cover exploded all over my Mom’s kitchen and left a huge sticky apple juice mess with literally 100’s of small plastic pieces. My Mom was truly frightened and said we should be thankful that no one was hurt. I was telling a co-worker and she insisted that I contact the company. I said I purchased the product years ago, and she said that a reputable company would want to know about how their product was performing. A web search brought me to this site and your site says that you are still interested in knowing about problems with this product....so I’m doing my civic duty!
This happened at my Mom’s residence, which is the address below.
