I was using my Topwit electric kettle that I purchased on Amazon on Feb 3, 2021. On Feb 17th, 2022, I filled up the kettle with water, placed it on my kitchen countertop, turned it on to make tea. A few minutes later, I heard a loud pop, looked at the kettle, and it burst into flames. Luckily, I had a fire blanket right there to cover it with. The damage was contained to a 5 inch burn on my counter. No one was injured.
