The product, in the report: Toptier Electric/Ceramic tea kettle, manufactured by Toptier housewares, Inc. Model “Elekettle-parent.” 110v-60Hz, 1000w
Purchased an electric, ceramic teapot in January 2023 on Amazon.com. We used it about a dozen times over the last year. At Christmas 2024 my wife complained of an electric odor. I tried it this morning to trouble shoot her concern. It melted completely through the bottom of the tea pot which is made of plastic. It created a fire hazard as well as a shock hazard.
