* I started smelling a hot electric smell when using the product and smoke was coming out vent holes *ambiano (Aldi brand) gooseneck electric kettle *i, the consumer, was using it to heat water * residential use * no injuries, I stopped using and unscrewed 3 screws to check and can see obvious signs of melted plastic
