The product, in the report: 3 Quart Slow Cooker, white

Today (Dec 29, 2011) I bought a slow cooker from AAFES , Camp Zama, Japan. I brought it home, unpacked it and washed it (crock and lid) by hand in my sink with warm soapy water. Immediately after rinsing the lid, as I was reaching over to set the lid aside to drain, it exploded in my hand. Shards of glass went all over my sink. I received 1 minor cut on my hand. The shards were very sharp and could have caused significant injury had they gone into my eyes.

This is a 3 quart slow cooker with the label “ Simply Perfect “ (“for the home”)
