The product, in the report: Magic Chef Slow Cooker Slow Cooker 120v-60Hz 350W E70052

Magic Chef Slow Cooker Model # MC SC600 E70052 at a luncheon at work. Turned the cooker on high for about an hour, then turned it on low. People were getting food from the cooker all morning. Suddenly the sound of an explosion, and glass flying all over the room. Luckily a person just turned his back to the cooker. No one was injured.

I called Magic Chef, but said they never heard of such a thing, and the retailer is responsible. We are not after anything, except an answer to how this could happen. Our fear having one explode and someone getting seriously injured. By the way, Magic Chef said I should call Wal Mart. I did and got the same response. Never heard of such a thing!
