The product, in the report: EURO-PRO slow cooker. Approximately 6qt Stainless exterior with black crock insert
I was heating up meatballs for lunch on Christmas day 12/25/2014. The cooker was set on low and was warming up for less then an hour. My husband went to pick up the cooker to move it and the plastic handle on the right hand side broke off. Luckily the cooker was still over the counter, so he did not drop the whole thing on the floor and hurt himself. Looking at the handle it appears that the heat conducted through the screws melted and weakened the plastic. Prior to this incident the slow cooker had not had much use.
