The product, in the report: microwave
A Wolf microwave oven, Model No. MW24, recently had a small internal explosion with very limited and short lived flames. The unit was about four years old and had minimal use. Wolf has replaced the faulty unit with a new one that looks exactly the same and contains internal construction that appears identical to the one that “exploded.”
Wolf apparently knows about this problem because they were quick to ask several questions and informed us that a certain plate on the side of the unit had to be clean at all times. Our unit that “exploded” was spotless at all times.
This appears to be a manufacturing defect that could have safety problems associated with it.
