The product, in the report: Consumer level 900 watt microwave oven - Keeps running when door is open.

We bought a West Bend Microwave model #EM925AJW-P1. It keeps running even when the time is up and the door is open. All buttons including the stop button work but when you open the door it spontaneously switches on. We often have kids in our home. We are afraid of them burning themselves so we removed the microwave from our kitchen. We contacted West Bend and gave them the serial number. They informed us it is not under a recall notice and they won’t refund any of our money nor replace it. We just bought it last year, but they say because it was MANUFACTURED more than a year ago the warrantee is no good.

(My hands and forearms tingle like a sunburn from putting it inside to get the bowl of soup out that was in it.)
