No one hurt Made Jan 13, 2017, sent to the company Feb 2, 2017, published by CPSC Feb 16, 2017
The product, in the report: Haier Microwave Oven
I have a Haier Microwave Oven that was manufactured on April of 2015, Model # HMC935SESS, Serial # HMC935SESS-150400566 that started to catch on fire. The wrapping that the discharge capacitor has around it started on fire. No damage to our home only because we smelled something burning and turned the microwave off. I called the company and they did not seem to be as concerned as I am. I still have the microwave and could show someone outside how it catches on fire when used.
