The product, in the report: Microwave GE XL 1800 ( white )

My GE Spacemaker XL 1800 turned on by itself this morning and would not shut off. We had no power surge at the time and all other products were fine. I unplugged it at the power source to “reset” it, but it just continued to run and would still not shut off. I called GE to let them know of the problem after having gone on-line to see if I could fix it. I came across a youtube clip that showed that this particular product is part of such problem. I am very Blessed to have been home as it could very well have been a fire hazard otherwise. This product has otherwise worked fine, but it horrifies me that my animals would be at risk any other day while I would be working.
