The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

No one hurt Made Nov 22, 2016, sent to the company Dec 1, 2016, published by CPSC Dec 15, 2016
The product, in the report: Counter top microwave oven - 1.6cu ft. Stainless steel and black. DHHS CODE: H7NF
My wife noticed that there was smoke coming from the microwave oven. It was not in use at the time. She immediately grabbed the microwave oven to unplug it from the wall socket. The socket was partially melted where the microwave was plugged into the wall. She took the microwave oven outside of the house. In her words, if no one was home, it would have most certainly led to a fire. She said that the exterior housing of the microwave was hot enough to feel through a long sleeved shirt. The microwave has a manufacture date of June 2013, so it’s not like it’s an extremely old unit.
We wanted to contact the CSPC because we are concerned that others may not be as lucky and not at home if this type of failure occurs in their own unit. As it stands, I will need to replace the socket as the only part of my house that actually suffered any damage. The first floor of the house filled with acrid smoke, but that has been vented. I have not actually taken the cover off to see any blistering of the power wires coming to the socket.
I have contacted the manufacturer of the unit to allow them to be aware of this particular failure mode. They have promised to contact me within 24 hours from their response team. I feel as a concerned citizen, I want all parties to know that something about this particular design can cause it to fail dangerously and catastrophically. Others may not be as lucky to be home if this were to happen; or worse, they may be sleeping.

No one hurt Made May 15, 2014, sent to the company May 29, 2014, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2014
The product, in the report: DAEWOO 1.1 CU FT, 1000 W, Countertop Microwave Over, Model: (KOR-1N4A) with stainless steel trim on front face.
I purchased a DAEWOO (KOR-1N4A) Countertop Microwave Oven a little over five months ago.
Recently, when in the process of cooking a meal, the timer ended, the cooking plate stopped turning, and the interior light went off. HOWEVER, the MAGNETRON KEPT OPERATING; burning my meal and making the unit exterior extremely hot to the touch. I unplugged the unit. Whenever, I plugged the unit back in and the door was closed the magnetron would start operating buy itself and would NOT shut off.
I don’t know if there is some additional safety circuit inside the unit that should activate but I wasn’t going to risk starting a fire to find out.
I noticed this product is still being sold, at a discount to the price I purchased it, at Walmart online.
