The product, in the report: Black and Decker 900 watt microwave .9 cubic foot black
I put some frozen chicken fingers in a micorwave safe bowl into the microwave. 1 minute in and there was a loud bang and burning smell. Bits of plastic of the inside of the microwave had exploded into shards revealing metal, there was a burn mark on my bowl, and smoke. My ears hurt for hours after, the explosion was so loud. The product was the 900 watt Black and Decker microwave from Target.

No incident, no one hurt Made Aug 19, 2021, sent to the company Sep 15, 2021, published by CPSC Sep 29, 2021
The product, in the report: Black and Decker Microwave oven Model EM720CB7 700W, Stainless Steel, 0.7 Cu.ft
I purchased a Black and Decker microwave oven model EM720CB7 on April 30, 2020. In less than a year the base of the microwave had melted bubbles of plastic over a large area of the base. Now there is a tear in the melted plastic posing the risk of toxicity when cooking food in the microwave. Regardless of numerous emails and phone calls to Black and Decker, no replacement is being offered. I uploaded the photo of base and melted plastic bubbles and tear. Please verify that it was successfully uploaded.
