The product, in the report: Samsung upright fridge sold at costco RZ11M7074SA

Samsung upright freezer RZ11M7074SA purchased from costco. I purchased in november 2022 and it began randomly turning off and melted all items inside. i at first thought maybe the door seal wasnt working so asked for help from the mfgr. In the process of trying to fix with samsung this happened 3 more times. I lost several thousand dollars worth of food. Eventually, a repairman came and said this is a KNOWN issue with this freezer and Costco reviews have now piled up showing this to be the case. The freezer control panel randomly switches to fridge mode and ruins all food inside. Samsung read their warranty on the phone to me stating that they do not warranty their products to work at all!! So they do not guarantee that a freezer will freeze!! Therefore, they do not refund for damage of your home, food, etc. I am concerned people are going to end up with food poisoning due to the high cost of food loss. There are currently 70 costco reviews with a rating of 1 and the majority of those complaints state this problem occurred and stating they lost $1500, $1200, etc. in food. They should not be allowed to sell this product and DEFINITELY should not be allowed to have a warranty that states they are not guaranteeing that their product will work!!
