I have a chest freezer that stopped freezing. I looked inside by the compressor and took off the cover that is attached to the compressor. All of the wiring inside the cover was bare and the insulation was gone. The chest freezer was manufactured by Igloo and is Model FRF 1049, and the SN is A1405112940000179 .
