Made May 31, 2024, sent to the company Jun 5, 2024, published by CPSC Jun 20, 2024

The product, in the report: It is a rose colored handheld mini steamer by Uomeod. It is about 12-14 inches in height.

I was burned by scalding water while using a handheld clothing steamer. I was using the device for its intended purpose but clearly it was defective. The water spurted and splashed out onto my thigh. Initially I was in shock. Unable to speak for at least a minute. The pain was intense. It left me with second degree burns, a horrible permanent scar, months of sleepless nights, and embarrassment.
