The product, in the report: Home Touch Compact Garment Steamer (Model #PC-PS-15C)
December 19, 2016
I was using my Home Touch Steamer (Model #PS-150C) to touch up a skirt and all of a sudden a rush of scalding water came from the steam hose causing me 2nd degree burns to my breast. I was completely clothed when this happened, but nonetheless the burns were extremely painful and significant. I have since been to the E R twice with burn complications/infections and it is still not healed.

No one hurt Made Feb 19, 2015, sent to the company Feb 27, 2015, published by CPSC Mar 23, 2015
The product, in the report: HomeTouch PS-250. Date code 2710. Input 120VAC 60Hz 1500w. Made by Homedics. Clothes steamer. White base and adjustable pole.
I turned the HomeTouch model # PS-250 garment steamer on and it immediately began making a very loud sound. The base ignited within several seconds and shot sparks out, almost catching the floor on fire. I was able to unplug the machine and it continued producing smoke. It was removed from the home without any further damage or injury. Steamer was approximately three years old and had a half full water tank at the time it caught on fire. It was plugged into a grounded outlet at the time.
