The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Electronic garment steamer

I have a Franzus WA-222 garment steamer that has burned me on a few occasions. It also overheats and cannot be held as it was designed to do. I contacted the company whose parent corporation is Conair. They refused to assist even though the item in under a recall and was previously the subject of a civil cash penalty for selling this defective product, which I was unaware of. Conair refuses to help and after four calls the their customer service, they flat told be it was not of their concern.
