Cuisinart “Double Belgian Waffle Maker” WAF-F20 Series After pouring in the batter, both lids secure properly. Once the batter begins to rise, it will push open and unsecured the lid which in turn allows steam to escape onto the handles. Re-did another batch to confirm issue, hoping it wouldn’t but the appliance repeated the issue.
