The product, in the report: Continental Treats Circus Animal Waffle Maker
I purchased for my grandson a Circus animal waffle maker at Walgreens just before christmas. On Christmas morning the parents went to use the waffle maker. The cord started to smoke and melt. They unplugged it and there was no damage done to the counter top. But it scared them.
On the bottom the description plate says: continental treats model 359847 waffle maker 120 v-60HZ-750 W made in China AC only Intertek 3179958 conforms to ul std,1083 date 0614
in the instruction manual there is a phone number to call if there is a problem 1-866-915-1212 I have not called them.
My name is: [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Building Inspector [REDACTED] Please let me know what to do because I also have two more that I have purchased as gifts for my other grandchildren.
