The product, in the report: WT-400 4 slice toaster/bagel toaster
I purchased a Waring Pro WT 400 toaster. Within 2 months the element went out on one side. I I tained a replacement. The replacement soon had the exact same thing occur and element went out. We became frightened and unplug when not in use, I purchased another, and the same thing has occurred again, only now this one is arcing periodically.
I contacted the manufacturer about the fire hazard potential but they are ignoring my questions on whether something is being done to correct this. They offered me a refund of less than 1/2 the cost of one of the units but I’m most concerned someone is going to have a fire from this. It’s very disturbing that they aren’t willing to address the hazard potential.

The product, in the report: Waring Pro Professional Toaster 2-slice (WT200)
WT200 Waring Pro Toaster was located inside my appliance garage and plugged into electrical outlet. Apparently power surged or somehow the toaster turned on by itself which resulted in melting underneath the cabinets and the garage door mechanism. Luckily I was at home when this happened and smelled the burned and was able to jerk the power cord out of the wall. I returned the toaster to the Waring company and after review they told me it was my fault...that the appliance garage door “artificially” held the toaster lever down causing it to burn. There is no way it happened this way. This product is a fire hazard and everyone who has purchased this product should know about this incident.
