The product, in the report: white Continental Electric 2 slice toaster model CE 23411
I have a Continental Electric 2 slice toaster model CE 23411. I’ve had it six months to a year and use it periodically. Today after I made 4 pieces of toast, I grabbed the toaster down close to the bottom to slide it out of the way so I could butter the toast, and immediately snatched my fingers away. The side burned my fingers. It was quite painful. I was nowhere near the openings at the top, so I know I wasn’t burning myself from that, it was the actual outside of the toaster. I am not using that toaster anymore and am worried for any children that may have that particular model and might be making their own toast.
