The product, in the report: Litchi Stand Mixer 5.5 Qt SM-983
Manufacturer: Litchi Product: Chef Machine (stand mixer) Product Number: SM-983
The Litchi Chef Machine is a stand mixer that I purchased off of Amazon for the purpose of mixing dough. It has a detachable dough hook and whisk that you have to lock into the machine. The problem is that each attachment has two metal prongs that are used to lock it in place and are not properly filed smoothly. This means that they scrape the hard plastic inside of the locking mechanism and cause plastic shavings to fall down into the food mixture below.
Furthermore, the prongs have worn down the plastic so much that I am unable to remove the attachment. The design flaw that causes the plastic shavings to fall into the food mixture is mainly in the hook/whisk attachments.
There are other people reporting this problem on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1MXLU7LLV5ZQ0/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B01N9K5F8R
