Using the cookie whisks on the Ankarsrum mixer, the plastic whisks shredded plastic into the chocolate chip cookie dough. I followed the manufacturer’s instructions exactly - my butter was soft, the speed was on the lowest setting when I added the chocolate chips ([REDACTED]choc chips). The mixer made a funny noise - it did not stop by itself. When removing the whisk - it was noted to have shredding and the pastic was in the dough.
